Sibambene Joint Account Agreement

This Joint Account Agreement (“Agreement”) is made and entered into by and between two individuals (“the Account Holders”).

Partner 1: An individual who is a holder of a valid South African Identification Document or Passport and a registered user of the Sibambene platform.

Partner 2: An individual who is a holder of a valid South African Identification Document or Passport and a registered user of the Sibambene platform.

(Collectively referred to as the “Couple” or “Account Holders”)

1. Purpose

The Account Holders agree to open and maintain a joint account on the Sibambene platform (“Platform”) for the purpose of collectively depositing, managing, and withdrawing funds.

2. Account Ownership

  • The joint account shall be held in the names of both Account Holders.
  • Each Account Holder shall have equal rights to deposit and withdraw funds unless otherwise agreed in writing through the Platform.

3. Deposits

Both Account Holders may make deposits into the joint account. All deposits shall be recorded on the Platform and accessible to both Account Holders.

4. Withdrawals

Withdrawals shall require the consent of both Account Holders unless the Platform provides predefined individual withdrawal permissions. Any withdrawal made without the consent of the other Account Holder may constitute a breach of this Agreement.

5. Account Management

The Platform shall provide an online interface for tracking deposits, withdrawals, and account balances. The Account Holders agree to provide accurate information and to maintain the confidentiality and security of their login credentials.

6. Liability

The Platform shall not be responsible for any disputes between Account Holders regarding the use or distribution of funds. Each Account Holder is responsible for maintaining their own records of contributions and transactions.

7. Termination

This Agreement may be terminated by mutual consent of the Account Holders. Upon termination, any remaining funds shall be divided equally unless otherwise agreed in writing between the Account Holders.

8. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, the Account Holders agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through mediation. Should mediation fail, the dispute shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa in a court of competent jurisdiction.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
